Cheetah Plains, in the Northern Sabi Sand features 3 exclusive-use designer bush houses – Mvula, Karula and Mapogo – each accommodating up to 8 guests and offering the ultimate in safari luxury. Interiors blend seamlessly with the natural surrounds, and the minimalist décor and calm palette offer contemporary, simple and stylish spaces, inspired by the African elements.
Each house has 4 spacious, open-plan king suites with elegant, contemporary décor and floor to ceiling glass windows. Suites boast a lounge, dressing room, bathroom with double rain shower, bath with views, separate toilet and a private deck with a day bed. 2 of the rooms are inter-leading. Each house features a main lodge with two lounges, a dining area and a fully-stocked, temperature-controlled wine cellar with an array of South African wines.
The enticing outdoors heated pool forms the focal point of the lodge, with its deck, outside rain shower and pool loungers. Guests can socialise or simply relax and enjoy a brief respite from the summer heat. Superb meals are created by your private chef. Morning and evening game drives are conducted in custom-built, prototype electric vehicles with Tesla engines, modified suspension and heated seats.
